Grammar:
Maksim is very good at grammar, he easily does grammar exercises and tasks on Present Simple, Past Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect. He has no problems with question formation and sequence of tenses. He sometimes needs too much time to think over the construction to use, but eventually gives the correct variant.
Vocabulary:
He has a good vocabulary, knows a lot of complicated verb / noun collocations, but the problem is that he has a real lack of basic lexis to use and sometimes cant speak about the weather or about travelling on a good level.
Written skills:
He has never completed written tasks offered during the course
Speaking skills:
He isn’t very motivated to speak during the lesson, doesn’t give profound answers to some questions discussed, and prefers to listen that to speak. Anyway when he speaks he tries to control grammar and almost doesn’t make any mistakes.
Listening:
He understands the recordings well, easily gets the general idea and doesn’t have problems with picking up some details.
Business English:
Business Lexis was intensively practiced with the native speaker.
Recommendations:
He should show more interest to studies, and become more motivated to speak.
